I’ve been working with people for a long time who have come to me seeking relationship help with their Gemini partners, and I have learned a few tell-tale signs that your Gemini’s behavior has crossed the line.

4 Signs That You’re In A Toxic Relationship With A Gemini Man – And What You Can Do About It
1. He Doesn’t Show Up For You
Geminis talk an amazing talk in a relationship. They will tell you all of the things that they will do for you and get you totally trusting of them… just to pull the rug out from under your feet in some cases! This can be totally heartbreaking when you were relying on them to pull through for you.
Geminis are often viewed as “being a lot of talk.” They will agree to plans just to back out, they’ll keep your hopes up just to unintentionally break them on the regular, and they will consistently demonstrate a lack of follow through. Then you are often left feeling like you have no one solid to trust in anymore.
If you have noticed this, they first thing to do is talk to the Gemini about it. They respond well to communication, as long as it doesn’t get too mushy. The next step is to wait and see if he actually makes changes for you. If not, then it may be time to head off to greener pastures.
2. He Tells Everyone Your Relationship Business… Except You
I’ve seen it time and time again. You’ll feel a strain in your relationship with the Gemini, you’ll try to talk it out… just for them to say that they don’t feel like anything is wrong! However, you may find that later on you hear of your Gemini man telling other people who don’t know you about the woes of your relationship!
Geminis are air signs, and this means that they are highly social… but not too inclined towards emotional exploration. This is why they will talk freely to others in their lives about their struggles but not their loved ones… the loved ones might actually want to dive deep into the emotional aspect rather than just leaving it alone like strangers will.
If you find that the Gemini is telling others about you but not you, then you should let him know how this makes you feel. It might also incline him to think twice before he tells others your business!
3. He Can Make You Feel Unwanted
This same tendency to talk to other people way before he speaks to the closest people in his life can be heartbreaking enough to make you wonder if the Gemini even wants you around. This can have you questioning your self-worth, wondering what could possibly be wrong with you. Let me assure you, it’s not you, it’s him.
Gemini men like all things new and novel. Their interest is piqued by brand new experiences and people more than anything. This means that their partner can be left feeling like they’re in a loveless relationship since the Gemini seems to be focused on anything but their long-term partner.
The best remedy for this is once again to bring to the Gemini’s attention how you feel. They probably don’t realize that their sociability with others and not with you can be very hurtful. And once again, go ahead and wait it out and see if this sticks with them, and if not then you shouldn’t stick with them either.
4. Compulsive Lying
Perhaps the worst toxic trait of the Gemini is their tendency towards lying. I have seen Gemini’s spin a heck of a yarn for seemingly no reason! It would have you scratching your head to think why they’d even be motivated to lie! It’s often a totally destructive and needless habit that wrecks their relationships and can have you lacking trust for all future partners after the fact.
Gemini’s desire to be social can have them looking for attention and a topic of conversation, sometimes no matter what the cost is. They are also good with words so they can come up with something to say on the fly to convince others of their validity. So, you could believe the Gemini for a very long time until you realize the truth!
Geminis also don’t like approaching the topic of deep emotions and they like to keep things light. This means that the Gemini will often tell a fib to take the pressure off of them when their partner questions their motives. What a mess!
This is a really tough toxic trait to find a remedy for since it only serves to assist the Gemini and very often, they can get away with lying unnoticed. I would make it clear that they have no reason to lie to you from the start, which will assist him in coming to terms with the fact that he may be lying to you for no reason.

It’s a shame that Gemini men sometimes cannot help themselves from displaying some core toxic traits, but it’s an even bigger shame that people like you should suffer because of it. If you want to assist your Gemini in seeing exactly the sort of pain that they are causing you, it’s important to be proactive!
The minute you notice the toxic trait in question, bring it up. Tell the Gemini that you’re not pleased but want very much to work it out with them. Communication is one aspect that Gemini’s can wrap their head around… now, following through with that communication is a different story.
If you feel that you’ve expressed how their behavior affects you but you’ve seen little to no progress, then you may have to make some tough decisions about the direction of the relationship. It’s a difficult fact to face, but not all pairings are meant to work!
